Acceptance of terms

By using the sotto.travel website and ordering our services, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Services

sotto.travel provides personalised city break itineraries. You submit a short travel questionnaire, and we create a custom itinerary for your trip: drafted with the help of AI tools and personally curated, corrected, and finished by a local expert. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our services at any time.

Recommendations, not bookings

Your itinerary is a set of recommendations. We are not a travel agency or tour operator: we do not book, sell, or operate the venues, restaurants, events, transport, or other services mentioned in it. They are independent businesses with no connection to sotto.travel, and while we only recommend places we genuinely rate, we cannot guarantee that they deliver what they advertise, stay open, keep their prices, or meet your expectations. Please confirm critical details (opening hours, reservations, accessibility) directly with the venue before relying on them.

Delivery and format

Your itinerary is delivered digitally: you receive a link by email to a personal itinerary page, with a PDF version available for download and offline use. Delivery is within 48 hours of purchase, and usually faster. In exceptional circumstances (high demand, public holidays), we will notify you of any delay.

Payment

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are listed in euros and include Dutch VAT (BTW). You are charged at the time of purchase.

Right of withdrawal

Your itinerary is a digital service, and we begin work as soon as you order so that we can deliver within 48 hours. Before paying, you tick a box confirming two things: that you want us to start straight away, and that you understand the standard EU 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies once your itinerary has been delivered. That confirmation is what allows us to begin immediately instead of waiting out the withdrawal period. Cancelling before delivery, and what happens if a finished itinerary misses the mark, are both covered under Revisions and refunds below. That guarantee goes further than the law requires for a product like this.

Revisions and refunds

If your itinerary misses the mark, tell us what's wrong within 7 days of delivery and we will revise it free of charge. If it's still not right after the revision, we will refund you in full. Contact hello@sotto.travel with your order details. If you wish to cancel before your itinerary has been delivered, contact us and we will refund you in full, provided work has not yet been completed.

Intellectual property

All content on sotto.travel, including text, design, and itinerary content, is the property of sotto.travel and protected by copyright law. Your purchased itinerary is licensed for personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed.

Your information

By submitting the travel questionnaire, you provide accurate information about your trip. We use this to create your itinerary. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Limitation of liability

sotto.travel itineraries are recommendations, not guarantees. How you use yours is entirely up to you: decisions you make during your trip, and anything that happens while acting on them, remain your own responsibility. You also remain responsible for your own travel arrangements, documents, and insurance. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of the independent venues and services mentioned in your itinerary, nor for venue closures, price changes, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your itinerary, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Dutch law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
